Subdivision Wildlife explores the interface of wilderness and human development — the modern suburb, urban park or newly settled or resettled rural area. These are the new frontiers, areas where for complex reasons deer, bear, cougars, moose, gators, snakes, hawks, coyotes and other wild animals have been pushed into proximity with people and interact with us in ways that are sometimes amusing, occasionally frightening and always interesting.
